As Walden Israel's Chief Financial Officer, I oversee all the operational, financial and administrative aspects of the Fund. I am responsible for Walden Israel’s financial operations, financial reporting, and taxation, and I work closely with Walden’s financial, tax and legal advisors in Israel and abroad, who are involved in all aspects of financing and monitoring the early-stage ventures backed by Walden, as well as reporting to the Fund’s Limited Partners. I joined Walden Israel from its inception in 1994, and am one of the most experienced CFOs in the Israeli venture capital area today, with expertise in Limited Partner issues and fund structures.
Prior to joining Walden Israel, I was a Manager with Ernst & Young Israel (Kost, Forer and Gabbay), one of the four leading accounting firms in Israel. I handled accounts that included both technology companies as well as venture capital and investments firms.
I hold a Bachelor's of Arts Degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in Accounting and Economics, and an LL.M degree from Bar Ilan University. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Israel, and member of the Chamber of Israeli Certified Public Accountants.
